I encourage our members to seek God as to which facet of this ministry they should be involved in. As you learn to be servant-hearted and teachable, and work where there is a need, God will eventually promote you to His ultimate call on your life.
Bishop Pat McKinstry
Ministering to children is a supernatural ministry. There is a special anointing and the power in this area. We are dealing with spirits that are alive unto God. God's sprout moves in children, and they can be blessed by supernatural manifestations. Isaiah 8:18 & Mark 16:20
The children's ministry begins at age 0 months - 12 years of age.
The Youth ministry (ages 13 - 19) is dedicated to meet the needs of those who are no longer children, yet who have not reached adulthood. Teenagers are taught who they are in Chris, and shown ways in which they can apply God's word in their daily lives. In doing so, it will help each person reach their maximum potential.
We believe in the importance of giving back to our community and the world. That's why we support a local and international organizations working to improve the lives of others.
As we examine the Word of God, we discover that music and worship are a vital part of the church. We attempt to express an exact representation of what God is doing in the church according to the pattern in His Word and of the Holy Spirit. We discern what the will of God is concerning music for the church.
Worship music is meant to help the congregation to worship God. Our job is to work with the Music ministry and our Bishop to allow the congregation to hear clearly the worship leaders, speakers and other media used in the Sunday morning service and other events where sound and media is needed. We are also responsible for maintaining the audio equipment and verifying components work properly.
The chief purpose of an usher is to see that everyone who enters Worship Center of Toledo feels welcomed and ensure that the service is carried out in an orderly manner. They are an extension of our leader.
Our purpose is to bring people together to promote fellowship and allow them to identify with others who maybe going through the same situation. We sponsor events like the "Married Couples Dinner" to attract people who may be hesitant about attending a church service.
