Why do we give tithes and offerings in church?


Giving is an expression of our thankfulness and praise to God. It comes from a heart of worship that recognizes everything we have and give already belongs to the Lord.

TERUMAH

 

What is Terumah?


Terumah is an additional offering that is meant to assure that the priests are adequately supported as, first mentioned in Exodus 29:27.
